Copyright and DMCA policy

What this covers

RVT.ai respects intellectual property and expects everyone who uses the store to do the same. This policy applies to product files, demos, images, descriptions, reviews and any other material published on RVT.ai. We respond to notices that meet the requirements of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and comparable laws.

Sending a takedown notice

Send a written notice to our copyright agent (details below) that includes: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) the copyrighted work you believe is infringed; (3) the exact URL(s) of the material on RVT.ai; (4) your name, postal address, telephone number and email address; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.

Incomplete notices may delay our response. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages.

What we do

When we receive a valid notice we promptly remove or disable access to the material, tell the person who published it, and keep a record of the notice. Where a purchased product is removed, affected customers are told and offered a refund or a replacement where appropriate.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice with: your signature; the material that was removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and telephone number, with consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court and to accept service from the person who sent the original notice.

Unless the original complainant tells us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users and authors who repeatedly infringe the rights of others, in appropriate circumstances.

Creator content and quick takedowns

Products, reels and profiles from creators can be reported with the Report button on each item; choose "Copyright or stolen work". Reports reach our team at once, and items reported by several people are hidden while we review them. A formal notice under this policy is still the way to request a takedown as a rights holder.

When we remove creator content after a valid notice we tell the creator, and repeated infringement leads to suspension of the creator account under the Creator agreement.

Posts, comments and messages

Posts and comments can be reported with "Report" → "Copyright or stolen work"; messages can be reported from the conversation menu. We remove infringing content after a valid notice and tell the person who posted it.
