Aegis: Animated Secure Login

Users trust what they can see. Aegis pairs a clean sign-in form with a living security shield: it glows brighter as the password gets stronger, bounces when it is ready, then runs through Credentials, Security Check and Authentication before an animated success screen. Subtle Web Audio sound effects add feedback without a single audio file.

A shield that reacts in real time

Four strength levels light up as the password grows; at eight characters the shield bounces with a confident glow. During sign-in it pulses while each verification step ticks off in sequence.

Playful guard rails

Until a valid email and an 8+ character password are entered, the sign-in button slides away from the cursor. Once the form is valid it snaps back into place, a fun nudge that also prevents empty submissions.

Requirements
Node.js 20.19+ and npm 10+ to develop and build. The production build is static HTML, CSS and JavaScript that runs on any static host. No backend, API keys or paid services required.

From download to production

1. Download Aegis: Animated Secure Login from your account and unzip it.
2. Run npm install, then npm run dev to open it locally.
3. Swap in your brand colours, copy and data (see the README customisation guide).
4. Run npm run build and deploy the dist/ folder to any static host.
